Hello! My name is Ken Carroll. I grew up knowing that my life had a purpose I was to fulfill and most of that purpose centered in serving others. I felt a current that seemed to carry me along and for the most part life worked out. I had a desire to fulfill my potential but didn’t really understand how.
I figured I just had to ‘go for it and make it happen.’ So I did and fell flat on my face…hard.
Everything I thought was going to happen fell completely apart. I felt betrayed by life, abandoned by God, and very confused. I picked up the pieces and began again only to face even tougher challenges.
What was I missing or not doing?! Didn’t my life have purpose?
I was not put on this earth to fail so miserably! Part of me could feel my desires for success, recognize my potential within, and see what I hoped to become. The other part of me was shattered, left without confidence, and terrified that I might never be able to fulfill my mission on earth.
Asking the Right Questions Brought the Right Answers
I learned to stop asking, “Why me?” and start asking, “What can I learn from this?” With this question in my mind, the answers began to come. My terrible fall would bring the greatest lessons that I needed to truly fulfill my purpose on earth. At the low point of my life, I was given a copy of “The Secret.” I watched it over and over and for the first time in my life I fully understood that through the power of correct thinking and the application of ‘laws’, I had the power to achieve my potential.
I was filled with new hope. But I was still missing something.
While I struggled with these principles, I was introduced to “The Jack Rabbit Factor,” by Leslie Householder. This book helped me understand the seven basic laws of success. There will always be problems, but those problems bring their own solutions and blessings. Focus on the solutions and blessings in every situation, act with faith, and enjoy success! Life and my experiences now had a new meaning and purpose. I now have a much greater sense of peace, prosperity, and power. I also have a more profound faith and trust in God.
